Research Visa

Eligibility

  1. Applicable for foreign research scholars who desire to undertake research in India.
  2. Applicable for Professors, teachers and scholars who are invited as visiting faculty by an Indian Institute/University.
  3. Applicable to the members of Botanical, Scientific, Anthropological etc. expeditions
  4. The normal processing time for a Visa application is 8 weeks after the submission of requisite documents along with the Visa application form.

Document Requirements

S-4 Visa is granted to research scholars, visiting Research faculty, research scholar on bilateral exchange programme, members of Botanical, Scientific, Anthropological etc. expeditions, and G-20 Talent Visa .
