Advisory for Chinese nationals applying for Indian Visa
This is to bring to the notice of all the Chinese nationals applying for Indian Visa under different Visa categories that no additional fees is charged by the Indian Embassy/Indian Consulates or BLS for granting Indian Visa other than that provided below.
Business Visa (Upto 1 year)- RMB 888
Employment Visa (Upto 6 months)- RMB 888
Entry Visa (Upto 6 months)- RMB 599
Conference Visa- RMB 599
Student Visa- RMB 599
Medical Visa (Upto 6 months)- RMB 599
Other than the Visa fees, service fees charged by the Visa application centre for all the above mentioned Visa categories is RMB 32.01.
Return of passports is free of cost. Chinese nationals should not fall prey to agents/touts/middlemen who are making false claims like faster processing or guaranteeing issue of Visas.

Please be informed all applicants are requested to obtain an online appointment before visiting the Indian Visa Appplication Center in Beijing, Shanghai & Guangzhou. Please note that applicants without prior appointment except for applicants going for G20 and SCO visits will not be admitted and will be requested to book an appointment.

Important Notice: Prohibition on Unauthorized Use of Satellite Phones
This is to inform all visitors to India including foreign nationals that bringing in or using satellite phones (e.g. Thuraya, Iridium etc.) in India without prior permission / license from the relevant Indian authorities is prohibited under Indian law.
Any passenger carrying satellite phone/ phones via baggage is required to declare the same to Customs on arrival and produce permission for use from the concerned authority.
Any individual found to be in possession of an unauthorized satellite phone in India is liable to be prosecuted as per Indian law, and all unauthorized sets found in possession of the individual will be seized by Indian law enforcement agencies.
Visitors and tourists coming to India are advised to comply with Indian laws and not bring in or use satellite phones in India without obtaining specific permission / license in advance from the concerned authorities.
