Dear applicant:
If you have completed biometric enrolment (fingerprints + photo) at an IVAC in the same jurisdiction within the last 5 years, with unchanged passport and current residence in that jurisdiction, you do not need to visit in person – you may apply by post.
How to apply:
1. Book online and get appointment letter;
2. Email your complete package to info.indiavisainchina@blsinternational.net with subject: [Jurisdiction]-Postal-[Passport Name]-[Visa Type];
3. Receive mailing guide and send your documents.
- Fee: Only 49 RMB service charge (COD not accepted).
- Contact: Same email; clearly state your jurisdiction (Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou).
- Reminder: Use trackable courier for passport and return envelope; keep tracking number. If conditions not met, book in‑person appointment.
Applicants from Jiangsu, Shanghai and Zhejiang who wish to submit their application at IVAC Beijing must select Beijing as the jurisdiction while completing the online visa application form. This will generate a Web File Number starting with “CHNB”
Starting from 26th May 2026: Applications for Indian visa from applicants residing or working in Jiangsu,Shanghai and Zhejiang provinces can now be submitted either at Indian Visa Application Centres (IVAC) in Beijing or in Shanghai. Applicants will have the choice to book appointment slots in either place as per their convenience, to maximize availability of appointments.
